About the theme
The Tata Trusts have a unique capability to convene and converge partners to tackle systemic weaknesses in the education system in the country. The Trusts are working to bring about systemic change by engaging with state and central authorities to transform the educational system from within.
The Trusts’ interventions in this fields comprise building capacity of anganwadis, developing processes and frameworks to standardise learning, setting up school development indices that serve as feedback mechanisms for educators, etc. These programmes and projects under the Trusts’ education portfolio address a multitude of needs and challenges across the sector.
