Parag, an initiative of Tata Trusts, invites applications for its Library Educator’s Course (LEC) in Hindi and English for the year 2018. The LEC is a blended 7-month course for librarians, teachers and educators. The course is aimed at building a cadre of professionals who have have the knowledge, perspective and skills to set up and run vibrant library spaces for children and promote reading among children. This is a first-of-its-kind course and can contribute to strengthening libraries and the effective use of children’s books in language and literacy classrooms. Parag will hold contact classes for the Hindi course in Bhopal while the English course is being offered by Bookworm in Goa.
