The report “Project Little Star” — The Centre of Excellence Child Care Institution or Ideal home is based on the experiences of experts working with children in need of care and protection. The study has documented good practices of residential child care institutions keeping in view the needs and rights of the child. By supporting such study, Tata Trusts aims to raise the bar on the quality of care and safe environment available to the children to be future-ready. This report is intended for use in developing future centers and expanding or renovating existing ones to groom children to become successful adults well-integrated in mainstream society.
