Medical grants

A medical emergency is a cause for tremendous emotional and financial stress for most families, which is exacerbated by escalating hospitalisation bills and medicine costs. Medical and health insurance do not cover the entire cost of treatment, especially in the case of cancer, heart ailments, cochlear implants, kidney disorders and other such life-threatening illnesses.

The Tata Trusts provide financial assistance to meet the cost of medical treatment both directly, as well as through a network of various hospitals. Additionally, criteria-based assistance is provided to socially and economically underprivileged patients, by linking with select hospitals through a revolving fund arrangement.

To apply for Individual Medical grants, please download and fill the form. The forms are to be submitted during office hours (9.30 am to 5.30 pm) Monday to Friday.
